The Museum held a successful "open" evening on the second day of the Hampshire fixture as a way of saying thank you to members and to encourage others to visit and view the exhibits.Food and drink was available thanks to the efforts of Richard Walsh and Eddie Lawrence and their wives and helpers. The Chairman of Somerset County Cricket Club, Andy Nash and Chief Executive, Richard Gould supported us by attending and Marcus Trescothick and Neil Edwards represented the playing staff. The evening was used as a launching pad for a limited edition print of Marcus painted by local artist Mike Tarr. These prints are available from the Somerset County Sports shop on the County Ground at a cost of £75 framed or £50 unframed.Proceeds are shared between Marcus Trescothick's benefit fund (which includes the Childrens Hospice South West) and the Cricket Museum.
